Product information

With static cooling, the air in the refrigerator section is cooled by an evaporator plate.
With circulating air cooling, the air in the cold room is circulated by means of a fan. This ensures a quick and even temperature distribution in the entire cooling area.
The cooling in the refrigerator takes place in the evaporator. In this, the refrigerant evaporates at low pressure, so the heat is extracted from the interior and the actual cooling process takes place. The resulting vapor is sucked in by the compressor and passed on to the condenser. From here, the heat is passed on to the environment.
Mobility wheels are typically used on large refrigerated cabinets in conjunction with telescopic feet. The mobility wheels make it easier for one person to move the refrigerator if necessary. To do this, the telescopic feet, which can be adjusted in height, are screwed up. The refrigerator is tilted slightly and can now be moved using the mobility wheels.

As cooling devices give off heat to the place of installation, this location must correspond to the climate class specified on the device. There are the following climate classes:

  • SN = 10°C to 32°C
  • N = 16°C to 32°C
  • ST = 18°C to 38°C
  • T = 18°C to 43°C.

Class N is most common in Western Europe.

Commercial climate classes are:

  • Test room climate class 0 / dry temperature = 20°C / relative humidity = 50% / dew point = 9.3°C / water content in air = 7.3g/kg
  • Test room climate class 1 / dry temperature = 16°C / relative humidity = 80% / dew point = 12.6°C / water content in air = 9.1g/kg
  • Test room climate class 2 / dry temperature = 32°C / relative humidity = 65% / dew point = 15.2°C / water content in air = 10.8g/kg
  • Test room climate class 3 / dry temperature = 25°C / relative humidity = 60% / dew point = 16.7°C / water content in air = 12.0g/kg
    Test room climate class 4 / dry temperature = 30°C / relative humidity = 55% / dew point = 20.0°C / water content in air = 14.8g/kg
  • Test room climate class 5 / dry temperature = 40°C / relative humidity = 40% / dew point = 23.9°C / water content in air = 18.8g/kg
  • Test room climate class 6 / dry temperature = 27°C / relative humidity = 70% / dew point = 21.0°C / water content in air = 15.8g/kg
  • Test room climate class 7 / dry temperature = 35°C / relative humidity = 75% / dew point = 30.0°C / water content in air = 27.3g/kg

Your promotional fridge needs a style all of its own, should it be refined with your company logo or just have a cool slogan?
Then you've come to the right place, because we offer individual branding from one device. On the respective product page, confirm the "Branding" field with "Yes" and proceed to the shopping cart. After completing the order, you will receive an order confirmation with a PDF attachment by email. The appendix contains the breakdown data and the explanation for the data preparation of the print data system. After you have submitted your design, logo or slogan in a usable format, we start the production and processing of your device.

Note on checking the print data: Please note that you or a third party commissioned by you must create the print data. We only take over the checking of the data supplied, the printing and the assembly of the film. You will not receive feedback on spelling mistakes, incorrect photos or colors, etc.

Payments

Please always state your order number and company name on the transfer form so that we can clearly allocate your payment to an order. Our bank details will be communicated to you by confirmation email/fax.
The Gastro-Cool internet shop is aimed at commercial customers, so net prices are given. That means 19% VAT will be added to the value of the goods and the shipping costs at the end of the ordering process.

Unfortunately, we no longer offer cash on delivery shipments.

Transportation

After receipt of the payment, the goods are loaded on the following working day and usually reach the recipient 4 to 8 working days later. Due to the weather and high freight volumes, however, there may be occasional delays in delivery.
We ship all items in pristine condition. Before you sign the delivery note, check the ordered goods for damage. If it is damaged, refuse acceptance and contact us - subsequent complaints about transport damage cannot be accepted.
You are also welcome to pick up the goods personally or from your forwarding agent at our warehouse in Willich, Mönchengladbach, Grevenbroich or Düsseldorf. To do this, select the free shipping method “pickup” when ordering. You must select a date for pickup. We need at least 2 days in advance. Please note that refrigerators must be transported upright. Please bring a truck or van with you when you pick it up yourself. In the case of horizontal transport, we exclude the warranty.
Refrigerators should always be transported in an upright position, because if they are transported horizontally, the coolant can run out of the compressor and get into the cooling circuit. Since the cooling liquid also serves as a "lubricant", the compressor must never be operated without sufficient cooling liquid. However, even during transport, the cooling liquid can be unevenly distributed in the device due to vibrations. During the waiting time of 24 hours, the cooling liquid is distributed correctly in the device again.
Freight forwarders usually deliver between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and are curbside deliveries. Devices and parts weighing less than 15 kg are sent with parcel services. For island deliveries, we charge a shipping surcharge. This will be added automatically once your postcode is added.
